My story

Built by an Oleh, for Olim

OlimAid was born from a lived experience: a developer who left France to make aliyah and found himself facing Israel's administrative wall — incomprehensible Hebrew letters, complex procedures, and the feeling of being alone against the system.

Why OlimAid?

I'm a developer, an Oleh from France with a passion for technology. When I arrived in Israel, I discovered that thousands of new immigrants were in the same situation: an opaque administration, a language that takes time to master, and few tools adapted to the French-speaking community.

OlimAid is my answer. A platform combining practical guides, AI tools (document scanner, complaint letter generator) and a directory of French-speaking professionals — everything a new immigrant needs to not feel overwhelmed.

The project is independent, self-funded, with no intrusive advertising. My only motivation: making integration in Israel a little easier for everyone.

How we build our guides

OlimAid isn't an accounting firm or a law firm. Here's how we keep our guides reliable.

Official sources

Every guide is based on official sources — gov.il, Kol Zchut, and the websites of the relevant ministries (Misrad Haklita, Misrad Hachinuch...). We avoid forums and hearsay.

Kept up to date and signed

Every page shows its last verification date at the bottom, signed "OlimAid editorial team" — that's me, the founder.

Our limits

We're not accountants or lawyers. For any high-stakes decision — a dispute, a large amount, a complex situation — always consult a qualified professional. Our guides are a starting point to understand your rights and procedures, not legal or tax advice.
