Question 1

What is the Scam Checker for?

Accepted Answer

New immigrants are a frequent target for SMS, email and WhatsApp scams (fake Bituah Leumi refunds, fake Misrad Haklita file updates, bank phishing...). Paste the message you received, and OlimAid AI analyzes it for scam signals typical in Israel and gives you a clear verdict.

Question 2

What kind of messages can I check?

Accepted Answer

SMS, emails, WhatsApp messages, suspicious rental or job listings — any text you received and aren't sure about. The more of the message you paste (sender number, included link, signature), the more accurate the analysis.

Question 3

Is it 100% reliable?

Accepted Answer

No — it's a decision-support tool, not an absolute guarantee. If in doubt, don't click any link and contact the relevant organization directly through its official website or phone number, never through the contact details given in the suspicious message.

Question 4

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, completely free. The quota is shared with the Avi chat (10 questions per day, free AI for everyone), to keep the tool accessible to the whole community.
