Legal notice and privacy

Publisher

OlimAid is an independent platform, built by an Oleh, to help new immigrants in Israel (guides and tools). It is not a law firm or an accounting firm.

For a question about your data or this notice:

Account

Sign-in uses Google (Firebase Authentication). If you create an account, we may store a profile (for example city, Aliyah date, Hebrew level) and the text results of tools you use (CV, translated scan, letters, analyses, checklist, and so on) in My Space.

We may send service emails (a tool result, a rights-deadline reminder unless you opted out). OlimAid does not send commercial ads.

Delete my account — Google/OlimAid account deletion is offered here. To ask for erasure of content already saved in My Space, email contact@olimaid.com.

AI tools

The scanner’s original file (photo or PDF) is not saved on OlimAid servers. It is sent to the AI (Google Gemini) for analysis. Translated text, like other generations (CV, letters, analyses, appointment prep), may be saved in your account and, depending on the tool, emailed to your account address.

OlimAid does not use your file contents for advertising or commercial profiling. Do not upload passwords or full bank credentials.

Cookies and analytics

Strictly necessary items (sign-in, language, remembering your cookie choice) work without the audience banner.

If you choose “Minimum”: anonymous page views via Vercel Analytics (no tracking cookie). If you choose “Accept all”: PostHog may measure browsing (and sometimes sessions) to improve the site. “Refuse” turns those measurements off.

You can change your mind via the Cookies link in the footer of every page.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or erasure by emailing contact@olimaid.com, or delete your account. Reminder emails also include an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message.

Hosting and providers

The site is hosted by Vercel. Accounts and tool saves go through Google Firebase. AI analysis goes through Google Gemini. Optional analytics go through Vercel Analytics and, if you accept, PostHog. Email is sent via SMTP. These providers are often outside Israel and outside the European Union.
